A monthly workshop for the trades

The Reactivation Roundtable · Free and online

Bring what worked. Leave with your next campaign.

Every month, a new group of home service contractors gets on one call and trades what's bringing past customers back: the offers, the subject lines, the timing, and the flops. Everyone leaves with ideas for their next reactivation campaign.

  • Second Tuesday of every month
  • 11:00 am to noon Central
  • Online, on Zoom
  • Live and interactive
  • A new group every month
  • Any trade, any software

How it works

Real campaigns on the table, from the people who sent them.

  1. Save your seat

Sign up for the next session, and we'll email you the link and a reminder before it starts.

  2. Bring one campaign

Something you sent that worked, or one that flopped. An email, a text, a postcard, an offer. Real examples beat theory.

  3. Leave with ideas

We trade what's working across trades, seasons and markets, and you leave with ideas for your next reactivation send.

The Marketing Clerics team talking through campaign ideas around a table

On the table each month

Six questions every reactivation campaign has to answer.

We work through them together, with examples from shops like yours.

  • Who to send it to

Which past customers are worth a message: by the last job, how long it's been, and what they own.

  • What to offer

The offers that got people to book, the ones that got ignored, and whether you need an offer at all.

  • What to say

Subject lines and first sentences that sound like your shop, not a coupon flyer.

  • When to send it

Timing it to the season, and to the work your crews can actually take on.

  • What flopped

The campaigns that didn't work, and why. Nobody has to pretend every send was a winner.

  • What comes next

The follow-up after the first send, and knowing when to stop.

Who it's for

For the people who fill the schedule.

  • Owners, general managers and office managers at home service businesses: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping and the rest of the trades.
  • Any software. You don't need ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro to join.
  • Your first reactivation or your fiftieth. If you've never emailed your old customers, you'll leave knowing where to start.
Adam Bauer

Hosted by Adam Bauer

CEO, The Marketing Clerics

Adam's team in Hastings, Minnesota writes and sends email to past customers for home service contractors. He runs the Roundtable, keeps it moving and brings the questions. The ideas come from everyone at the table, him included.

Rather hand it off?

We can run your reactivation for you.

The Stewardship Program sends one personalized email a month to your past customers, written by a real person and matched to the work you did for each of them. It also runs the follow-ups that bring back customers who've gone quiet. You approve every email before it sends. It runs on ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro MAX.

Questions

Before you sign up.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The Roundtable is free.

Is it the same workshop every month?

The format and the questions are the same. The people at the table change every month, so the ideas do too.

What if I can't make the next one?

It runs every month. Come back to this page and sign up for the session after.

Do I have to share my numbers?

No. Share what you're comfortable sharing. An example of what you sent, and roughly how it went, is plenty.

Is this a sales pitch?

No. It's a working session, not a presentation. We'll mention the Stewardship Program because it's what we do, but the hour is about your next campaign, whoever ends up sending it.

What do I need to join?

A computer or phone, and the link we email you after you sign up. If you have a campaign you've sent before, bring it.

Your next reactivation campaign starts at the table.
